The Wrocław Multimedia Fountain fills the broad pool beside Centennial Hall with choreographed water, music, and, after dark, colored light. Its setting is part of the experience: the fountain sits inside the curved Pergola, with Centennial Hall, Szczytnicki Park, the Japanese Garden, and the Four Domes Pavilion all close enough to combine with the same visit.

How the Fountain Program Changes

The fountain does not use a single format throughout the day. Daytime programs combine water and music, while evening performances add colored illumination. Designated special shows go further by adding multimedia projections on a water screen, so a special-show night can look quite different from the regular sequence.

Current Schedule

Daily, performances are scheduled at 6:00 PM, 7:00 PM, 8:00 PM, 9:00 PM, and 9:40 PM.

The programs also vary in length and soundtrack. Regular sequences range from short musical pieces to longer arrangements, while the special-show calendar uses named productions with their own music, lighting, water choreography, and projected imagery. For that reason, choosing a date can matter as much as choosing an evening time.

The exact program can change during the operating season, particularly when special events use the Pergola. The current listing is therefore more useful than relying on an old timetable saved from an earlier visit.

What the Fountain Uses

The installation occupies a pool area of nearly one hectare and uses 300 water jets, lighting equipment, and three fire jets. Music ranges across classical and contemporary styles, with the choreography changing according to the selected program.

Special productions use projection on a water screen in addition to the fountain’s normal water and lighting effects. That distinction is worth knowing when comparing different dates: the regular evening illumination and a named multimedia production are not simply two labels for the same show.

Watching from the Pergola

The fountain sits within the historic semi-elliptical Pergola on the northeastern side of Centennial Hall. Its long curved walkway surrounds the pond and creates open views from several parts of the perimeter. Stepping farther back from the water makes it easier to take in the broader fountain patterns, while a position closer to the edge emphasizes the individual jets.

The Pergola itself has 750 concrete columns linked by overhead trellises. Climbing plants cover much of the structure during the warmer part of the year, giving parts of the walkway shade before the evening performances begin.

Pool Safety

The main fountain basin is not a wading area. Entering it is prohibited, and the fountain water is not intended for drinking.

Finding the Fountain

The Multimedia Fountain is part of the Centennial Hall complex at Wystawowa 1 in Wrocław. It lies east of the historic city center, in an area served by both trams and buses. Public transport routes can change, so current journey information is more dependable than keeping a fixed list of line numbers.

A paid car park is located beside the Centennial Hall complex, with vehicle access from Wróblewskiego Street. On nights with larger events elsewhere in the complex, arriving with extra time gives more flexibility for walking from the stop or parking area to the Pergola.

Planning the Area Around the Show

The fountain is surrounded by attractions that can make an earlier arrival useful. The Japanese Garden, Four Domes Pavilion, Centennial Hall, Szczytnicki Park, and Wrocław Zoo are all in the same part of the city. Their opening hours and admission arrangements are separate from the fountain program.

The broad outdoor layout also means there is no theater-style seating plan for the fountain. Walking around the Pergola before the performance is a practical way to judge how much of the pool you want in view and how close you want to be to the water effects.
