The Magic Water Circuit in Lima’s Parque de la Reserva contains 13 cybernetic fountains, while its scheduled multimedia program is centered on the Fuente de la Fantasía. Water choreography, colored lighting, music, laser effects, and projected imagery come together during that performance. The rest of the circuit remains a separate part of the experience, so the listed show times refer specifically to the multimedia presentation rather than every fountain in the park.

Current Show Schedule

Daily, performances are scheduled at 7:15 PM, 8:15 PM, and 9:10 PM.

How the Multimedia Program Works

The timed presentation takes place at Fuente de la Fantasía, one of the fountains inside the larger Circuito Mágico del Agua. Its water jets form part of the projection surface while lighting, music, images, and laser effects are coordinated with the movement of the water.

This distinction is useful when planning an evening. A listed multimedia show time is not the opening time for the entire fountain circuit, and the other installations are not simply repeats of the Fuente de la Fantasía program.

If the multimedia performance is the main reason for your visit, leave some time on either side of it for the rest of the park. The circuit covers more than the single performance area, and several fountains are designed to be viewed as individual installations.

What You Can See Around the Circuit

The Magic Water Circuit opened in 2007 and includes 13 cybernetic fountains. Fuente de la Fantasía hosts the multimedia presentation, but the park also includes fountains with different water patterns, forms, and nighttime lighting.

  • Fuente Mágica is known for a central jet that rises more than 80 meters.
  • Fuente de la Fantasía is the setting for the scheduled multimedia performances.
  • Fuente Arco Iris, Fuente de la Ilusión, and Fuente de la Armonía are among the other named fountains in the circuit.
  • Túnel de las Sorpresas and Laberinto del Ensueño are also part of the collection of water installations spread through the park.

The result is closer to a walk through a fountain complex than a visit to a single performance stage. That makes it practical to combine one scheduled multimedia show with time spent moving between the other displays.

Planning Your Time in Parque de la Reserva

The circuit is inside Parque de la Reserva in Cercado de Lima, at Jr. Madre de Dios S/N, beside the Estadio Nacional area. Because the fountains are distributed through the park, arriving with enough time to walk between installations is more useful than timing your entrance only around the start of a multimedia performance.

Viewing is listed as general admission S/ 7; children under 5 free with physical ID; listed concessions apply.

The venue includes on-site ticketing, restrooms, food and drink kiosks, and vehicle parking. Some fountains are designed for closer interaction with water, so footwear and clothing that can handle an occasional splash may be useful if you plan to explore those areas rather than only watch Fuente de la Fantasía.

Viewing Tip

For the multimedia program, position yourself where the full width of Fuente de la Fantasía is visible. A wider view makes it easier to follow the relationship between the water jets, projections, and lighting rather than focusing on only one part of the fountain.
