Disney Tales of Magic is Disneyland Park’s nighttime production at Disneyland Paris, using Sleeping Beauty Castle and the façades of Main Street, U.S.A. as connected projection surfaces. The show mixes Disney and Pixar stories with music, lighting, lasers, projections, and pyrotechnic effects, so where you stand changes how much of the castle detail or the wider Main Street staging you can see.
Show Schedule
No regular schedule is currently listed.
Disneyland Paris publishes performance times for individual visit dates in its official app. Entry to Disneyland Park may close before the nighttime program begins, so being inside the park before closing is important when the show starts afterward.
When Disney Tales of Magic Takes Place
Disney Tales of Magic is presented at Disneyland Park in Marne-la-Vallée, east of Paris. Disneyland Paris describes it as an evening show performed on Sleeping Beauty Castle and along Main Street, U.S.A. Exact performance times are tied to the operating calendar rather than one permanent clock time, which is why the current schedule is more useful than a fixed time printed in the editorial text.
The production debuted on January 10, 2025. Its soundtrack combines more than 20 Disney and Pixar musical selections with the original song Live in Magic, recorded with a 100-piece orchestra at AIR Studios in London. Stories represented in the production include Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, Encanto, Lilo & Stitch, Inside Out, Coco, Pinocchio, The Lion King, Toy Story, and WALL-E.
The original 2025 staging used drones as part of its effects package. Disneyland Paris later moved Disney Tales of Magic to a version focused on projections and pyrotechnic effects without the regular drone component. That distinction is useful when comparing current performances with launch-era photos and videos.
Operating Conditions
Times vary by date and weather; Disneyland Paris publishes exact show times up to 30 days before the visit date.
Why Main Street Changes the View
The castle remains the visual center of Disney Tales of Magic, but the production was designed to extend beyond it. Projections also reach the façades of Main Street, U.S.A., turning the avenue between Town Square and Central Plaza into part of the show rather than simply the route leading toward the castle.
Disneyland Paris installed 20 high-definition LED video projectors along Main Street for the original production. The larger technical system also incorporated architectural LED lighting, lasers, powerful spotlights, an immersive audio system, strobes, and pyrotechnics. This wider staging allows scenes to spread across the field of view instead of being confined to the castle façade.
That setup creates two noticeably different viewing styles. Standing closer to Sleeping Beauty Castle makes small projection details easier to follow, while moving farther back gives more visual space for the relationship between the castle, surrounding effects, and Main Street façades. There is no single required viewing point; Disneyland Paris officially lists areas around the castle and along Main Street as places from which the show can be watched.
A Different Show in the Other Park
Disney Tales of Magic should not be confused with Disney Cascade of Lights at Disney Adventure World. Since March 29, 2026, Disneyland Paris has operated a nighttime show in each of its two parks. Disney Cascade of Lights is staged around Adventure Bay, while Disney Tales of Magic remains the castle-and-Main-Street production in Disneyland Park.
The resort states that the two nighttime productions take place simultaneously, so seeing both requires planning them on separate park evenings rather than trying to move between the parks during the shows.
Choosing Where to Watch
Central Plaza and the areas facing Sleeping Beauty Castle provide a more direct castle view. Along Main Street, U.S.A., the perspective becomes wider and the building projections play a larger role. Disneyland Paris recommends arriving early when having a wider choice of standing locations matters to you.
Viewing Tip
Being very close to the castle is useful for façade detail, but a little more distance can make it easier to take in the broader staging. If Main Street projections are a priority, avoid choosing a position based only on proximity to the castle.
A paid reserved viewing area is also offered for Disney Tales of Magic, subject to availability. It provides access to a designated viewing zone rather than requiring guests to secure a general viewing position. Valid admission to Disneyland Park is still required.
The listed admission information is Included with a valid Disneyland Park ticket or Pass.
Accessibility During the Show
Disneyland Paris provides a dedicated viewing area for eligible guests with disabilities in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle, near the path facing the Frontierland tipis. Guests using this area are asked to present a Priority Access Card and may be accompanied by up to two companions.
Photography and short personal-use video recording are permitted during Disney Tales of Magic. Keeping phones and cameras from blocking the sightline of people behind you is especially helpful in the denser viewing areas near Central Plaza.
